EACH REGISTERED ACCOUNT gives the opportunity to purchase a maximum of 5 tickets.

Once you have finished the process, make the payment: you will find your tickets in the Order History of your Account. Save them on your smart-phone or print them out and take them with you. At the entrance, you will be asked to show them. 

Clothing and conduct should be in keeping with the religious nature of the building (please make sure shoulders and knees are covered).

St. Mark's Basilica and the Pala d'Oro

The visit starts by passing through the Porta San Pietro (St. Peter's Door) and under the splendid Dome of Genesis, where you enter the lower part of St. Mark's Basilica (* Pala d'Oro, Museum, and Horses Loggia not included). On entering the church, we are struck by the majesty of the golden mosaics and typical Byzantine art forms that are revealed at first sight. Continuing along the route, you come to the high altar, containing the remains of St. Mark. Behind it is the Pala d'Oro (Golden Pall or Cloth), the world's only intact example of large Gothic goldsmithing.

The visit start time is the time selected when booking, and shown on the ticket.

It is important to be punctual, in order to give all visitors the best experience.

A leeway of 5 minutes before and after the start time of visits is allowed. A visit of about 30/45 minutes is recommended.

The ticket Museum and the Loggia dei Cavalli is not included, you can buy it by selecting the ticket BASILICA S.MARCO + PALA D'ORO + MUSEO E LOGGIA CAVALLI or at the checkout with operator following the indications that you will find inside the Basilica

Audio guides can be rented at the D'Uva counter, just after passing through the entrance turnstile.

Backpacks and/or luggage larger than 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm are not allowed.
Trolleys are not allowed under any circumstances.
Security personnel may refuse entry to non-compliant backpacks and/or baggage.
