Practical Information

Groups without a guide/escort are not allowed into the Basilica. The presence of at least two guides is compulsory for the tour to take place.

Once you have paid for the voucher, you cannot change the date or time of entry.

It is possible to add people to the group by paying the price difference on the day of the visit, by credit/debit card.

Groups of over 100 people are not permitted.

Please arrive with your guide/escort at Porta dei Fiori (entrance for mass, in Piazzetta dei Leoncini) 5 minutes beforehand. The reception staff will let you in through the appropriate entrance depending on high water or any building works taking place in the Basilica.

The staff will collect the voucher and scan the QR code at the turnstile for each visitor.

The visit start time is the time selected when booking, and shown on the voucher. Please be punctual in order to give all visitors the best experience.

The visit lasts a maximum of 60 minutes (including entry and exit).

Clothing and conduct must be in keeping with the religious nature of the building.

The ticket purchased is always available in the area: Log in - My Account - Order History.

For more than 30 persons, visitors must be divided into two groups and the presence of two guides/escorts will be required.

Backpacks and/or luggage items larger than 40 x 30 x 20 cm are not permitted.

Rolling suitcases (trolleys) are not permitted under any circumstances.

Security personnel may stop non-compliant backpacks/luggage from being taken onto the premises.
