TICKETS BOUGHT IN BREACH OF OUR GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE, OR FROM UNAUTHORIZED SELLERS, ARE NOT VALID FOR ENTRY.

Once you have finished the process, make the payment: you will find your tickets in the Order History of your Account. Save them on your smart-phone or print them out and take them with you. At the entrance, you will be asked to show them. 

Clothing and conduct should be in keeping with the religious nature of the building (please make sure shoulders and knees are covered).


PURCHASED TICKETS CANNOT BE CHANGED. THEY ARE REFUNDABLE ONLY IN THE CASES SPECIFIED IN THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

St. Mark's Basilica

The visit starts by crossing the threshold of Porta San Pietro (St. Peter's Door) and passing under the splendid Dome of Genesis, where you enter the lower part of St. Mark's Basilica (* Pala d'Oro, Museum, and Horses Loggia not included). On entering the church, we are taken by the majesty of the golden mosaics, and typical Byzantine art forms that are revealed when beholding them for the first time.

Practical Information

Your tickets are always available in the ‘Log in – My Account – Order History’ section.

The date and time of your visit are those selected at the time of purchase and shown on your ticket.

Please arrive on time to ensure the best possible experience for all visitors.

You may arrive up to 15 minutes early or late relative to the scheduled start time of your visit.

Audio guides can be hired at the counter immediately after passing through the entrance turnstile.

Clothing and behaviour must be appropriate to the religious nature of the building (please ensure your shoulders and knees are covered and that you maintain an appropriate tone of voice throughout the visit).

Rucksacks and/or luggage larger than 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm are not permitted.

Trolley bags are not permitted under any circumstances. Security staff may refuse entry to visitors carrying rucksacks and/or luggage that do not comply with these requirements.


TICKETS PURCHASED IN BREACH OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE OR FROM AN UNATHORIZED SELLER ARE NOT VALID FOR ENTRY AND WILL BE CANCELED WITHOUT REFUND.

TICKETS PURCHASED CANNOT BE AMENDED.

The right of withdrawal is excluded pursuant to Article 59, paragraph I, letter n) of the Consumer Code, as this concerns the provision of leisure services with a specific date or period of performance.

The ticket issued serves as a receipt for the payment made and is exempt from VAT pursuant to Article 10, point 22 of DPR 633/1972.
